Workspace and Space Roles
These are the most visible roles for everyday users and project teams.
They determine who can access, participate, and configure work at different levels.
| Level | Role | Description | Typical Responsibility |
| Workspace | Workspace Owner | Full control over the Workspace — create Spaces, manage members, and set visibility. | Department head, portfolio manager. |
| Workspace Member | Can join, view, and participate in public and assigned Spaces. | Team member, analyst. | |
| Workspace Visitor | Read-only visibility for selected Spaces or reports. | Executive, auditor, client. | |
| Space | Space Owner | Configures workflow, membership, and Space settings. | Project or process owner. |
| Space Member | Creates and manages Cards, notes, and documents. | Active participant or contributor. | |
| Space Visitor | Can view and comment on Cards. | Partner, advisor, or stakeholder. |
Example:
In the Product Launch 2025 Workspace:
The VP of Sales is a Visitor, monitoring progress and milestones.
The Marketing Director is a Workspace Owner.
Product managers are Space Members in the Campaign Planning Space.
