Role Assignment and Governance

Role management in KanBo follows a secure and transparent process:

Assignment:
Only users with the Roles Assignment or Security Administrator role can modify system or resource-related roles. Workspace and Space roles are typically assigned by respective Owners.

Visibility:
Each user’s roles are visible in the admin view, supporting internal audits and compliance.

Audit Logging:
Every change in user role or access is automatically recorded in the activity stream.

Least Privilege Enforcement:
KanBo ensures users only access data relevant to their assigned responsibilities.
