What Is KanBo Robot

The KanBo Robot is a built-in workflow automation system that lets users create rules visually:

“When this happens → then do this.”

No code. No external connectors required.

How It Works

  1. Create a Rule – Use the Automation → Robot panel.
  2. Choose a Trigger – e.g., Card created, status changed, comment added, due date reached.
  3. Define Actions – Move, assign, tag, post comments, update fields, or call Power Automate flows.
  4. Activate and Monitor – The rule executes automatically whenever the trigger fires.

Example Scenarios

  • Automatic Task Routing – When a support ticket card is created, assign it to the correct agent and add a checklist.
  • Approval Workflow – When a card enters “Ready for Review,” assign reviewers and send notifications.
  • Deadline Reminders – On due-date arrival, post a comment or escalate ownership.
  • Status-Driven Transitions – When “Fixed,” move the card to “QA Testing” and tag with “Verify.”
