Spaces – The Operational Environments

Spaces are where real work happens.
They act as collaborative environments that organize tasks, documents, and discussions related to a specific project, process, or initiative.

Key capabilities

• Define the purpose, scope, and goals of your work.
• Invite team members and assign roles (Owner, Member, Visitor).
• Customize workflows with Statuses and Card templates.
• Centralize files, discussions, and reporting within one structure.

Space types

Type	Description	Typical use
Standard Space	Automatically available to all Workspace users	Department-wide initiatives
Private Space	Access limited to selected Workspace users	Sensitive or confidential projects
Shared Space	Cross-organizational or external collaboration	Partnerships or customer projects

Example

In the Product Development Workspace, you create Spaces such as:

• New Product Line Q2
• Supplier Quality Improvement
• Design Validation Process

Each Space includes tasks (Cards), files, and communication relevant to that activity.
